Kennedy, George

Attore cinematografico statunitense (New York 1925 - Boise, Idaho, 2016). Ha esordito nel cinema nel genere western (The little shepherd of Kingdom Come, 1961; Shenandoah, 1965; The sons of Katie Elder, 1965), interpretando successivamente ruoli di uomini duri e violenti in polizieschi e thriller (In harm's way, 1965; The dirty dozen, 1967;  Charade, 1963; Hush… hush, sweet Charlotte, 1964; Mirage, 1965; Thunderbolt and lightfoot, 1974; The Eiger sanction, 1975). Negli anni Settanta è stato interprete di pellicole del genere catastrofico (serie Airport, 1970-1979), mentre in anni più recenti è apparso in numerosi film e serie televisive (Dallas - La guerra degli Ewing, 1998; Sands of oblivion, 2007; The young and the restless, 2003-10). Tra le sue ultime interpretazioni cinematografiche vanno citate quelle nelle pellicole Another happy day (2011) e The Gambler (2014).
