Bruner ‹brùunë›, Jerome Seymour. - Psicologo e pedagogista statunitense (n. New York 1915), professore a Harvard dal 1952, e dal 1961 direttore del Center of cognitive studies; prof. alla New York University. Ha studiato sperimentalmente l'elaborazione e l'organizzazione dei dati da parte del soggetto nei processi conoscitivi e di apprendimento, applicando i risultati ottenuti alla didattica delle diverse materie di insegnamento.
