Nome d'arte dell'attrice inglese Margaret Natalie Cross (n. Ilford 1934). Affermatasi nel varietà e nella rivista (Share my lettuce, 1956), dimostrò la sua versatilità cimentandosi nella prosa con la compagnia dell'Old Vic, con la quale interpretò testi di W. Shakespeare (As you like it, 1959; Richard II e The merry wives of Windsor, 1960) e di autori moderni come E. Ionesco (Rhinoceros, 1960) e P. Shaffer (The private ear and the public eye, 1962).Toccante Desdemona accanto a L. Olivier nell'Othello (1964), brillante nelle commedie di costume (Private lives di N. Coward, 1972; The way of the world di W. Congreve, 1984; The importance of being Ernest di O. Wilde, 1993; Three tall women di E. Albee, 1994), ha allestito nel 1980 lo spettacolo Virginia, ispirato alla figura di V. Woolf.
