Atwood, Margaret. - Poetessa e narratrice canadese di lingua inglese (n. Ottawa 1939). Altre opere: Bodily arm (1981; trad. it. Lesioni personali, 2021), The robber bride (1993); Morning in the burned house (1995); Princess Prunella and the purple peanut (1995; trad. it. La principessa Prunella, 1996); Alias Grace (1996; trad. it. L'altra Grace, 2003), vincitore del Giller Prize; Oryx and crake (2003; trad. it. L'ultimo degli uomini, 2003); Moral disorder  (2006, trad. it. 2007); Payback. Debt and the shadow side of wealth (2008; trad. it. 2009); The year of the flood (2009; trad. it. 2010); MaddAddam (2013; trad. it. L'altro inizio, 2014); The heart goes last (2015; trad. it. 2016); Hag-Seed (2016; trad. it. Moltissimo, 2021). Tra le sue opere più recenti: The testaments (2019; trad. it. 2019), sequel di The handmaid's tale, il romanzo Tric Trac Trio (trad. it. 2021) e la raccolta di saggi Burning questions. Essays 2004-2021 (2022; trad. it. 2022).
